MY SE6A Auto....

Post by Oxymoron » Thu Jul 05, 2018 10:48 am

Hi,

Last night and this morning, I have mainly been...Replacing the pink coolant with blue, replacing the gunked up thermostat and gasket,

re-tightening the auto gearbox sump bolts, replacing the rear light lenses, replacing the front wipers, washing and waxing the bodywork!....

Before the sun comes around and makes it too hot!!

The air filter box was grotty with rusty scabs and peeling paint, so I've repainted it in blue!.

I've been painting the engine bay white today, to match the exterior, as it was still a shabby blue colour, having not been painted when the car was restored previously....

Looking smart, might be worth getting this thread moved to project progress?

Looks very nice and clean and matches the rest. What paint did you use, and did you use a brush or rattle cans ?

A can of spare Seat Candy White 2k paint came with the car and I've just brushed it on in the engine bay.
The hot sun has baked it on!
