I was leaving it there on the basis it had passed before but get the feeling I should move it.

If it is going on the floor in front of the seat is ok fixed to the GRP floor perhaps with some spreader plates?

It should be OK fixed through the GRP floor. Put some big washers on the underside.

Thanks for posting the picture / comments on using the front chassis bolt Craig andJim.
I took the nose cone and rear shroud off to reaveal the bolts. If using that bolt then looks like a large hole / slot is required in the nose itself. The metal on the front is a bit thin

I was thinking of making a flat plate which picks up the rear chassis bolt and the 2 from the towing eye plate this then would put a bolt near the original opening in the nose probably need to make the triangle hole square?

A couple of spreader plates will be better than washers, as the load is spread across a much larger area of the GRP. You don't want it to be flying around the cabin if it pulls through. A couple of strips of aluminium underneath the floor will do the job without adding much weight and are no more difficult to fit than some washers (once the holes are drilled at least).

It does look high up behind the seat in your photo (not nice to hit you in the back of the head), but getting weight down as low as possible also aids performance and as Steve says, put's it within reach of the drivers seat too.

Chaps quick question does the nose cone fit on top of the top fixing brackets or below them?

Cheers

The corner mountings projecting from the armature tubes?

Over the top. And over the top of the rad shroud.

First track day in car was really pleased with the performance and handling. Only issue was fuel starvation symptoms hard cornering with the tank 1/2 full, trip to petrol station and £30 in then no issues...😀😀😀
