I have been made aware of ghetto add but not had chance to contact the owner as yet. (Although there have been a few recently!)

absolute bargain project IMO. The galv chassis will have been a Middlebridge receivership sale item from GW.

Gerroff it's mine!

Apparently I was the third to enquire about it, but for some reason the first two people decided they weren't interested so I grabbed it.

It arrived yesterday absolutely packed with bits, pieces and spares to complete it so I've got a day of unpacking and inventory-ing ahead of me.

This is my first GTC and I'm already noticing some same-but-different features from the GTE. Many questions coming up on the foum I think!!

Your chuffedly

Alex.

Well done Alex, that looked like a bargain, sounds like it'll be like Christmas all over again, to start with, as you unpack everything. I look forward to hearing about your progress! :D

Glad you have finally got it home Alex.
The rebuild can begin in this sunshine we are having.

Did you decide on going with that local chap to deliver the car ?

If this can be verified I would (wearing my RSSOC MB Registrar hat) be very interested in any info on the chassis, especially if it has a chassis number stamp.

First things first do you have the top of the passenger mirror? If so is it repairable? If not if you want to keep it original start looking now cos they are rare!!!!

Alex, I've moved this thread into "Project Progress" as it seems to have evolved that way anyway :) If you would like a different subject header, please let me know, and I'll change it.
