I'm not quite sure what you are referring to. If it's the passenger side floor that is all at the height of the transmission tunnel, that is clearance to the exhaust, which has the muffler where a passenger usually goes.

If it's the switch panel, hhen it's only a bit wider than normal, but has a fuse & relay box in gront of it.

If you go far enough back in the thread (I'm not sure how far), it's all shown in the build.
