I bought one from Craig (later sold to Raz IIRC?) - I thought they were £120.

Yeah they are cheap enough to buy but its finding someone willing to ship it and then the cost of shipping and import duty, the link below has more information on the parts required.

Everything has it's price..... but you'd probably be better off sourcing from the states if in no hurry.

Phil, if you could be persuaded please PM me with your price. I don't scare easily.....

I have irons in a few fires, but not managed to find someone who'll sell me one yet.

I went through almost buying one a few years ago when I bought the Sabre back from Steve. I could've got a full CA20 engine locally for £100, but passed on it........ IDIOT

I've also been considering various engine swaps, but a mild torque and BHP hike on this engine will suffice if I'm going to get the best handicap result out of the tyres I have planned

In hindsight I'd have been better swapping to another engine as this has been quite expensive but where's the fun in that

Not got the tyres yet, but I have the wheels. I’m waiting to see the outcome of the proposed changes before I commit

UK CA20s were all (*i think*) FWD, so used the wrkng inlet manifold. Its similar in design to the one known as the Canadian spec, but about half the volume and has the TB kn the wrong end (faces the bulkhead).

Originally when i did the canadian conversion, think it was 2005, it was mainly to shorten and simplfy the intercooler pipework, and increase the plenum volume, but mainly to stop cylinder scavenging over the originals tiny volume. It was a nice surpise to gain 4hp and a dollop of mid range torque

It’s a good job you posted that, as I hadn’t spotted the TB pointing towards the bulkhead on the UK versions. :hand:

I suppose anything is possible if you have ally welding skills.
