I've got a gold bonnet that could go with car, but it is very blistered.

Just taken a deposit on the car. So it's no longer for sale.

I'm giving notice that the car is now for sale and will be ready for collection in about a week.

I am looking for £2750 absolutely no offers. This is a bargain for a track ready SS1 Turbo.
It has MOT for about 7 months.

To recap:-

It arrived like this. The paint was awful, sun bleached and the shadows of earlier lettering were burnt in.

Image

.......and it now looks like this :-

Image
Image

Spec over a standard car is :-

Fully adjustable Spax shocks all round
GW vented disc conversion
15" alloy wheels wearing Toyo T1R list 1A tyres (6mm of tread)
Ford Sierra limited slip diff 3:62 ratio.
Sparco race bucket seats
Intercooler with scoop
Shift lights
Fire extinguishing system (fixed over driver and engine bay)
Factory roll hoop
Adjustable boost controller
Boost gauge
Reputed 180BHP

It will also come with an unpainted hardtop. This was a NOS item I bought a couple of years ago from Ian Daniels.

There may be more that I've missed off, but you get the gist.....

I mentioned earlier in the thread that it had triangulated wish bones. It doesn't, but the wish bones are painted and in great condition.

To fit side repeaters or not to fit side repeaters? That is the question.

It’ll need them if he wants an MOT?

Just debating which ones to go for. I was thinking clear Ford Focus triangular jobbies.

I can’t find the blue focus type triangular ones I fitted to G97 - looking for some for Megan3.

Depends how sharp your MOT tester is.
Can't a small LED strip be stuck somewhere without the need to drill the bodywork?

Otherwise yes, perhaps a more modern option is better than the generic rectangles reliant fitted.

I used Montego ones, but only cos at that time the scrap yard was full of Montego/Maestro etc, 40mm x 30mm and just a push fit through the front wing same size hole as the boot light was (on mine) approx 15mm x 15mm

are repeaters only required after a certain date, but who knows the age of Mr Corks variable coloured cars, maybe this was what 'SMART' had in mind when they said panels were easily changed to change car colours ?

Maybe a nice clear LED that lights up yellow could be added to the wing mirrors.... Very VAG/Mercedes...
