It’s from Rally Design, needs gluing with high temp adhesive. Joins taped with aluminium tape as used on ducting etc

Looking great, as ever. I do admire your workmanship. Mine is a bit more basic, :? I simply don't have your patience

Just fancied a change and I hate the new ‘tuner nut’ set up on the revolutions, just looks like an after thought and I had some come loose a couple of times. With its new engine I wanted a more aggressive restomod look

We’re beginning to see quite a few cars in the paddocks shod with Nankangs. Please let us know what you think of them.

The car’s looking great !

LRP 335E Sprint Coupe

Okay, as my car related decisions are not that straightforward anymore, we now have a quite dramatic change of direction with this car! With numerous work projects to fund I decided to sell the Ecoboost package for a profit and take a full drive train consisting of a John Wade engine and T5 box out of my TVR 3000S. The TVR will get a fast road spec engine and a T5 with a more suitably positioned gear lever as the Cosworth T5 version ends up level with the seat backs  I purchased a Cosworth BOA engined SE5 on triple webers, which was the initial thought to replace the Ecoboost; however thinking about that, it only has maybe 10-20 more horsepower than the JW Essex with all the restrictions of non original block (more relevant for racing than speed events now). Said SE5 also has an LSD axle, which was a pleasant surprise considering I’ve sold my 7ha! So I’ll sell the BOA and it’s sought after BMW gearbox and return the 5 to standard.. eventually!

I’m planning a very different exhaust system and the engine and box will hopefully be in next week, so there will be some good progress and we will be back to around page 10 of this thread
