Well I won't say exactly how fast I was going in this video - but the wipers lift at 70mph. In my defence, it was an empty dual carriageway :-)

I hadn't realised that in "upside down" mode, the gopro mirrors the image, so it looks like I'm driving on the right

Based on the speed of the scenery when the wipers lifted and how much quicker it went past afterwards, that was a little over 70...and doesn't seem to hang about either

I can confirm that later on a private test track, I estimated the 60-90 time to be sub 3 secs

Beginning to think I picked the wrong Omega engine..

Oh, hang on - mine's running the right fuel  and I can still fit a spare wheel under the bonnet.

Drag race down the Mulsanne in a couple of weeks then? 8)

Looks good - can you get aerodynamic spoiler-type wipers for when you're on the autobahn like that?

Absolutely LOVE that!!!
I so would love to do that conversion but it would never happen.

I fancy popping a 3500cc twin turbo diesel into a coupe

286bhp and 580 lb/ft torque

It doesn't sound bad at all either - for a diesel.

Steve - That would be a beast!

Funnily enough it still sounds very "Scimitar-like" - if you didn't tell me what the engine was, I probably wouldn't have guessed *from the video*. Whether the same is true in real life, I don't know?
