Dad's mate has welded up the new 3" exhaust for us and I'm having a tinker with composites this morning, it's actually quite fun.

G130 YCF sprint car

Long overdue update, the tub floors are now back in and completely flat from front bulkhead to rear wheel well in support of the 2020 aero package, dads finished the exhaust and made a support bracket for the fuel filler he's also made some progress on the gearbox mount and the new bespoke propshaft has been made and test fitted. I have been and collected some doors and the old batmobile nose and bonnet which has now been converted into a two piece and I have started to sand it down in preparation for the the next bit along with starting the drivers door window frame and support. Up next, build the new forged engine back up now that the special long stud has arrived from ARP, dads going to wire the new fuel pumps upto to the stock ecu then im going to drop the new engine and old box back in to run the new engine in. Once thats been run in we are going to complete the new loom for our standalone ecu, fit our new inlet manifold and monster injectors, solid boost pipes (yet to be made) and go take it for mapping on 09/03/2020, hopefully the gearbox mount and hydraulics will be complete pre season otherwise we are definitely going to need some more spare gearboxes :w

Cheers guys, we are both getting pretty weary now its been a long slog and it feels like we still have a very long way to go so the encouragement is much appreciated! If it wasnt for the dust I might have been better off moving my bed out to the garage lol
