True, thanks guys. the main reason for sticking it on a rolling road is so that I can get more power out of it which will make it more fun :)
No the main reason foe sticking it on the rolling road is to make sure the fuelling is correct and it doesn't bang
...and if it ain’t on the cusp of going bang, you can throw more boost at it until it is... (right ;))

I am looking for some more advice, we have a bailey blow off valve and at the top of the valve there is a nipple that a vaccum hose attaches too. Where does the other end of this vacuum hose go when installed on a TI?

A manifold vacuum source downstream of the TB. There is a blanking plug in the inlet manifold or T off the tube to the ful pressure reg or boost gauge

great thanks Craig, am I right in assuming then that the valve is actuated by the vacuum caused by the engine at closed throttle? if that is the case then are they generic or do they have different spring stiffness?

Today has been a great day, the car is back together completely and moving under its own steam. It goes really well so we are pretty chuffed, this engine is much sweeter than the last one. We fitted an uprated cooling fan, put the bonnet back on and took it for a blast, all is well. once back we pulled the bonnet off and Steve started mocking up the air scoop for the intercooler and I made a start on replacing the rear shocks, im really not a fan of the upper shock access but then why make things easy! not important I know but I decided to take the rear spoiler off as its bloody aweful at the moment, it looks like its been painted by an ape with a brush using metled crayon instead of paint.... can I leave the Y shape plate off the underside of the gearbox or does it serve a purpose?

We managed a few more bits today, air scoop fabricated and fitted, boost pipes mocked up along with the intercooler. rear shocks fitted, rear tow strap and eye fitted, manual boost controller fitted and the fuel pressure regulator has been mounted but not plumbed in yet.

Please can someone confirm exactly which bits need to be chopped from the fuel rail in order to fit the adjustable fuel regulator?

Return to tank is the connector under the reg. Return pipe from fuel rail goes on the other connector. Did you buy a gauge and sender :?:

Gauge not essential at all, the fun I will set fuel pressure relative to boost ceiling. Gauge is useful for fault finding though

Send pic of your fuel rail and I'll show position mate

I am taking it to Revlimit on Thursday to be setup on the rolling road, should I get one before I take it there? do you have a link to the sender I need?
