Am I losing the plot or are there 2 slightly different dashboards for a 5a? Carcass or fascia? 2 different steering columns???

yes there are 2 slightly different mouldings

but you may well be losing the plot

yes there are two different ignition switches and the plastic fascia is slightly different for both.

Thanks. My whole steering column seems to be a good inch or more too far left.

It was the very last batch IIRC that caused problems, the ignition switch was different so the key and lock came off the column in a different position so the dashboard was moulded differently.
Been a long time since came across it.

Don`t know if Reliant moved the column to try get round it :?:
