Correct SE5 Wiper Drive gear ????
If you take off the cover on the wiper motor, the number of degrees is stamped into the drive gear. An Se6a, for example has a 130deg gear. If yours turns out to be wrong, then replacement gears are available from SVC, for example. All you need now, is to know what yours is, and what it should be
If yours turns out to be right, then it could be your wheelboxes are wrong?

I think they’re 130 across the board.
I wouldn’t put much weight on an eBay listing...

It's 120 degree on my Coupe which has the same windscreen as an SE5. Best to check what is already fitted.

Yep, it has a 120 degree, so going to assume that is going to be correct, cleaned motor and regreased etc, seems a lot better
ordered park switch, happy days.

It can be the drag caused by seizing wheelboxes, or whatever they're called - nightmare job to replace - certainly on an SE5. My wipers gave up the ghost a year or two back - the driver's wiper spindle was incredibly hard to turn. The workshop manual says 4-6lbs. of 'pull' (I think!).. but when the inner cable was hooked up to a spring balance, mine was about 20lbs+!! There had been problems before as someone, donkey's years ago, had drilled it in the forlorn hope of getting grease/oil into it. I lubricated the cable & spent ages getting it as free as possible - when I got the draw just into single figures I decided that would be good enough. My professional pal cleaned up the wiper motor as best he could. The wipers have worked better, in the last year or two, than they ever had before. Often the car would have had to have a couple of miles under her belt before they would grind into life - hardly surprising!!

On my Se5a, the driver wiper, at low speed, is touching the right bottom corner of the windscreen rubber and when coming back it is touching the base of the windscreen. Is it expected or does it mean that someone in the past used a 130deg instead of of the 120deg?

More likely to be the wrong wheelbox if the passenger side sweep is okay.
