Any tips on fitting Coverdale carpet set ?

I’m afraid “best of luck” applies. They don’t know themselves - having fitted one to a 5a and having loads of unknown bits left over and seeing trying to fit the same set to an SE5..expect to run out of bits. Of course, this will be the first time anyone has reported an issue like this...yeah, right.

I should say that whilst they have a pattern, it wasn’t done by them...

good luck I'm afraid you are going to need it, hugely disappointed in the set I received bought the most expensive one for my GTC and not one single piece fitted many being too small and needed replacing, the ones that weren't too small needed cutting, my set was incomplete and did not match the originals I ended up buying extra and cutting it my self, there are some threads on here and fb, mostly disappointed purchasers. When I questioned the measurements I was told no one else has had a problem they reluctantly sent a couple of replacements for the small ones and yes they were the same size and useless .... I will cut my own next time. hope you have a better experience

Oh dear. I'm afraid all I can add is more of the same. When I bought MB61 a previous owner had had a set of Coverdale carpets fitted - ooh, goody, thought I, most impressed... until I had a look in close up, and started noticing the fit was shall we say less than snug, there were small tacks used on the back seat backs that came out in my hand (and in one case INTO my hand), and the quality of workmanship was not at all up to the reputation I had heard at that time. The whole carpet set is on my to-do list.

I agree with other comments ,I got a set for my 5a we could not work it out in end just did our best I cannot recommend you would be better off buying a lump of carpet and cutting it yourself as well as saving money :D

I bought 3m x 1.5m from Coverdale at about £70 took the front seats out marked each piece as I took it out, and used them as patterns. The side panels come out anyway so can be done easy. It is a long job but the end result looks great.
I didn't trust after market patterned parts so cut my own.
If I was you I would send them back and buy a length and cut them yourself.
As a foot note they can even supply the rubber tread mats.
Other than that I can only wish you luck.

The carpet set fitted to the 5a is a Coverdale one. Other than a couple of pieces which were edged where they needn’t be, most of the pieces were a pretty accurate match for the originals once you work out which bits get stuck to underlay and folded over etc.

The 'side wall' pieces will be for 5a and yes they are too small!
