Late 5a Fog/Spot Relay Location

Post by Joe. » Sat Jun 09, 2018 6:07 pm

Can anyone tell me the factory location for the fog/spot relay on later 5a's? Does it just hang under the fusebox the same as the high beam relay or is it behind the dashboard?

Cheers
Dave

I think it’s close to the main beam relay - been many years since I had a ‘74 with factory fitted aux lamps so I might be mistaken.

I've got switches and wiring fitted to my 5a and only a single relay under the fuse box so am wondering the same thing tbh
I say below the fuse box, as it's currently free to wander about I presume that's what it is of course.

One under the fusebox is generally the Main Beam relay - if it's got blue/white wires on it, then it should be main beam.
