Body re-inforcement metal parts SE5/a - dxf files

Have you documented a Scimitar related procedure and would like to share it with others? Pictures are most welcome!
Threads here also contain previous “stickies” from other sections, as a central location for quick reference information.

Body re-inforcement metal parts SE5/a - dxf files

Post by Pepe » Fri Jul 29, 2016 11:19 am

Guys , I decided to remove the password from the dxf. Have fun...

Hello all,

I want to share some dxf files with you that I created to support my SE5a re-build in another thread here.

These came in handy during the restoration, especially the door inner and turret re-inforcements to support the heavy battery and avoid body cracking on near the turret

- Dropbox Link - updated to new dropbox location 20180220 - now without password - please leave a "thank you" when downloading :) -

Edit 05.06.2018: ....well, wll, well... Somehow it doesn't work and i still receive some requests for the password. So I better simply post it here (take care of UpPeR_LoWeR case):
DXF_files_GTESE5a

Some of the files are also available here a drawings or electronically so they may overlap and I thank the guys that have created them! Having the dxf files available you should be able to have them stamped at a metal-guru :)

The zip is password protected, please request via email through this forum, so I can track roughly who gets the files...

thanks

Christian

Oh no! File not found!

Is there an updated location of this life saving dxf file? Does anybody happen to have it saved?

Thanks!

DXF files can't be added to the forum normally but if emailed to me, I'll be able to ;)

It's the dropbox folder that's gone AWOL Phil, DXF would have been in there

In his original note, Christian wrote the note above, so a working dropbox link, on it's own, won't help you. You need the password as well. Might be worth a PM to Christian?

Already PM'd and replied. It is indeed a dropbox issue.

I have updated the dropbox link which now works again.

Dropbox has shut down support for the "PUBLIC" Folder they have invented some time ago. I now need to edit each and every thread to the new links...
Page 23 so far :)

Please continue to request the PW via email or PM.

Thanks

Christian

Ah, I'd forgotton about that, don't you just love the way these companies operate, offer loads of storage then slam the limit down meaning like me you end paying just to get your stuff back because you can't organise into folders to retreive cause there isn't free space and you can't download it all at once because there's too much data! I am now looking for a cheaper alternative like my own NAS box at home possibly

No password on the download, but a password is still needed to unzip/open the files? Do you still want a PM for this, Christian?

I've added them to the sticky as an attachment (which might make it easier for you) although the ZIP file still needs the password from Pepe to unlock them.
