Well it's now just 4 weeks to go to ScimFest@Curborough and time to ask people to kindly offer an hour or so of their time at the event to volunteer to help run it, many hands make light work as they say so if people would care to let the Committee know by replying to this and popping their names below and when they'd be prepared to assist that would be a great start.

We are looking for people to man the gate Saturday and Sunday as well as marshal cars in the various parking areas that are open for our use around the site in general as well as assisting at the auto test Saturday morning and other tasks that need doing about the place over the weekend.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Just a quick “bump” to remind you good people that ScimFest is now only a couple of weeks away and to get tickets booked ASAP before the event!
I understand from Sec John U that Camping slots are still available so don’t delay in getting your pitch booked!
If you can spare an hour or so across the weekend to man the gate, it would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Hey Guys!

I am visiting family in Cornwall. This will be the first time I have been home during Curborough since moving to Canada in 2005!
Am I in time to book a camping pitch for Saturday night? Is the rssoc shop price per person? It would be for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Camping is per pitch IIRC.

Give John a ring at club HQ - you should just about catch him before he leaves..

Quick bump, don't forget to book your autotest spot asap for the saturday morning, also if you don't have a pre paid entry programme then you will be charged £10 per person in your car so it makes sense to book ahead, entry programmes can be picked up from the gate if prebooked as postage might be a bit tight on time now.

Quick final bump up before I depart for the event and don't have access to a computer, if you want to come to the event or take part in the autotest please give John Unwin a call on 07340 662629 to book your advanced entry (programme can be collected at the gate on entry) or the autotest.
Look forward to seeing you there, weather wise not too bad is the forecast, few showers but otherwise okay.

Thanks Roger, we had a right laugh. Phil A was driving for this run, showing his inner 'drifter'.
