Evening All,
I'm in the midst of arrangements for this years show and need some help!
If you have a well presented GTE or have a part restored car and are willing to have it on show over the 23rd to 25th March weekend at the NEC, then please get in touch?

Many thanks
Kev O

Evening All,
In efforts to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the GTE, I need the loan of a really nice 5/5a for a few hours on Saturday 24th March at the NEC Restoration Show to accompany Tom Karen on the stage. Tom will hopefully be giving a talk for around half an hour about the GTE and his time at Ogle.
So, if you have a REALLY REALLY great original looking car then please get in touch?

Evening ...Again!
I'm toying with the idea of getting a GTE rolling chassis to the show as well. It's amazing how much interest a chassis brings so if anyone has a rolling chassis with/without an engine, then please contact me. The NEC requirements are that the cars (or chassis) have to be available from Thurs 22nd March to the Sunday 25th March and once they're on the stand they must stay there for the show duration....

Evening,
Update.......one car required..... if any member has a Resto project on the go at the moment and would like to have it on the RSSOC Club stand at the show, please get in touch?
It doesn’t matter at what stage the restoration it’s in as it will be a good draw for punters to see the process of restoring a Scim.
Oh, forgot to say it can be either a 5 or a 6 series!
Thanks
Kev O

Evening Geraint et al,
Just as an update, things have changed during this week and I’ve secured a complete car for the show as opposed to just a chassis. Apologies for not getting back to the guys who have PM’d me as I’ve been travelling with work and it’s just been plain hectic.
Thanks again,
Kev O

Evening All,
Just to let you know that Tom Karen will be giving a talk on all his design creations including the GTE on Saturday 24th March at approx. 1pm.
If you’re going to the show on Saturday, get yourself along to the Practical Classics Live Stage and see Tom! There’ll even be a GTE on stage at the same time!
Cheers

With the show less than a week away, please remember that if you hand in you club voucher that you get with your tickets, the Club receive £1 cash back!
At last years November NEC show we received over £30 back, so it’s really worth doing!

Thanks all, and hope to see you there over next weekend,
Cheers

Great show at the NEC very glad I made the effort to drive up today. Really enjoyed the interview with Tom Karen, something not to miss. Visited the stand and found a very friendly welcome . Bought the latest Classic Car with an excellent piece on the GTE . You know though I will be a little sorry if Reliants suddenly become the ‘next thing’ , I’ve rather enjoyed being a fan of the car worlds best kept secret😉 . Ps , the white car on stage with Tom, what size are the wheel / tyre combination because they really suited it well and seemed slightly fatter than standard? Also saw a new vivid orange Minilites for sale.......Now , do I keep the steels and original covers , or.......?
