Post by MrGoldtop1960 » Mon Jan 30, 2017 10:08 am

Morning All,
The Silverstone Classic takes place over the weekend 28 - 30th July and I'm looking for A1 to excellent condition cars to grace the RSSOC stand!
If you would like to be considered for the event, please can you send me an email to in the first instance?

Look out for details in the next edition of Slice!

I did consider going as Sarah offered to buy me a "Spitfire experience" (a replica spit which you can start the engine on - details here) for my birthday - but I just can't bring myself to support another Porsche event :-(

I'll save my hard earned for the Malta Classic, Le Mans Classic, etc which are real classic events.

I know what you mean Jim, but sadly it's the porkers and their like that really keep these events going mores the pity, if you fancy porker free(ish) try Donington Park equivalent in May, the August Gold Cup at Oulton Park also seems to now be plagued with the beetle type cars as well now

SE4c rebuilding. SE5a similar it seems!

Yes Nick,
Malcolm Brown is doing the Donington Historic Festival again. See the ScimitarWeb Calendar and Slice 273, which should be delivered this week.
