You could go two tone and fully paint the bottom half 👍
That maybe a better option, perhaps the lower half in chocolate brown, then I can respray the wheel wells in a dark colour too.
Here is my carScim.jpg
I’m quite a fan of two tone cars and most cars have a two tone interiors unless they are completely black ,can’t see your interior but it could give a clue to what colour you might want to paint it👍
That is an interesting idea to look at the interior. Here is mine so that suggests a medium brown for the two tone

A very simple approach is to add a contrasting thin vinyl coach line just below the line of the upper swage line/door handles on the sides. And polish the alloys.

The broad contrasting strips on the sides shown in the images above are very striking, it just depends how far you want to go.

Hi Nigel, I am struggling to visualise what you are suggesting, do you have a picture you can share ?

Another subtle option is to fit 6b rubbing strips

Here's a photo of my SE6A, shortly after it came home from an excellent Dave Speed respray.

The red line is subtle, some may say too subtle!

Or a Speedy555 stripe? Sort of half way between 70’s graphics, rubbing strips and a 2-tone band.

Nice interior and yes maybe a slightly darker brown but only slightly than the seat backs ,why not do a mock up with some coloured paper see what you think 👍

What would "chocolate" brown look like?

The stripe looks better to me - that could be because it’s between the swage lines and also matches the others out there..

The rear bumper being out of alignment with the swage lines (and front bumper) always bugs me with 2 tone cars.
