Car Insurance

Due to the current government restrictions on movements and my ceaseless amazement that my insurance costs go up and up even now I'm travelling less and less (and a lot slower than I used to!)...I comforted myself when the insurance companies told me it's all about risk.......so I wonder if we should all be in for a reduction in our vehicle insurance when this is all over? Sky TV has already stopped taking money for their sports channel as there is no sport, my three cars and motorbike sit idle except for the one trip for essentials every two weeks and yet I haven't heard any mutterings about insurance risk being less.
Just a little lighthearted hope in these depressing times

It’s happened in the USA , companies have been asked to give a partial payment back to all customers . As for the Uk don’t hold your breath though .

of course it should happen
far less road risk now-look at how the private transport usage has dropped in last 3 weeks

but it wont, they will blame non payers etc -same with road tax, lots cant sorn their cars as they have nowhere offroad to park them-and simply cant drive them...so "emmisions" duty should be cut-tax on cars isnt cheap now....my doggiemobile is £550 a year

Optimism that’s just what we need 😂 wasn’t it Mr Kipling who said ‘when all about you are loosing their heads ‘etc I think he ended with you don’t know what’s going on, but I like his cherry Bakewells 😳 I need to get out more 🙈

Be on the positive side - ok your insurance and road tax have not come down ( as they should do ) but your petrol bill is going to be much reduced.

SS1 1600 (AJZ ----), C30 (SK 57 ---)& 480 ( .. . EVU & . . . . CDC)
Regal 330 (VAV ---) now passed to another 'keen owner'
