So, the wifes RAV4 D4D went sick...turned out to be injector issues. Anyway, to cut a long story short, 3 garages all failed to remove the full set, but the last one it left saw it missing really badly and conking out every few hundred yards due to a lack of fuel. Anyway, I parked it up at home in disgust, but today took it to work to strip it down myself to take a look....all I can say is thank god I only drove it a mile, as I seem to have found the issue  A sump full of Diesel, and it doesn't bear thinking about if one of those bolts fell out. No wonder it ran worse than when it went in....Cowboys!

I had a right nightmare trying to remove an injector from a 1.6 td Mazda. In the end i ran the engine till nice and hot. Loosened the injector securing bolts snd turned the engine over. Injector popped right out. The tar around the injector kept it from comming out and worse whrn cold
