Looking for my parent's Scimitar SE6A

Post by Decky_Merchant » Tue Aug 14, 2018 4:49 pm

Hi all,

I apologise for raising a long since dead topic. However, I am still looking for TAF 170S, but to no avail. I was hoping that with the passage of time, someone may have heard or seen something of the car.

I'm trying to dig out some photos of the car and hope to post these soon.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Kind regards,
Jack.

no apologies needed - we don't discriminate against members that only post every couple of years :P

Did the SE6 registrar get back to you? My old version of the register says that it appeared on EBay at some time. There's no date on there. so it wasn't added by me, which means it's post early 2010.

I'm sure you don't!.

At the time yes, but unfortunately Jonathan didn't have any information other than the fact that it had appeared on eBay, as you mentioned. From the website it seems that Graeme Conway is now the registrar, so I have got in touch with him in the hope that some new information may have arisen.

Unfortunately, I have a feeling that the car is long gone. Regardless, if that's the case, I am still looking for a concours SE6A if anyone fancies selling one!

Jack.

The Club archivist (Dave Poole) keeps records of all Scimitars that appear on ebay, so I'll ask him. Unfortunately I know that he's on holiday at the moment, so won't have access to his records for a few days.
