EXACTLY :o

The numberplate law is quite specific and as we all have to comply to the legality if he gets fined then it serves him right. :idea:

sadly not (the getting caught part) . . . . I'd have thought that the ANPR systems would trigger but maybe they just read individual letters and as long as the letters are all there it ignores spacing?
and yet I have hassle getting a new plate made by local motor factors .. . . . .
