Oh how I wish more suppliers would take that stance. I dislike having to have the supplier name on the plate and even more when they use a large font size or a panel below advertising the garage.
I specifically got MB14's plates produced in the size and font used in 1989 - without any supplier identification - and they have passed all the MOT's since I fitted them. The SE5a's are black and white with no identifier either. I have resisted the temptation to replace the plates on the moderns.
