I’m assuming second hand as the new prices of the Tesla 3 are more than double that of a new 2 series tourer?

And are they cheaper in Europe (while we can still easily import cars :D )?

Oh and so easy to buy - all done over internet - no complicated extensive series of options/accessories (often incompatible) like most manufacturers. Just which of 3 versions: Standard, LR or Performance, color of inside black or white, wheel size and towbar y/N. Unfortunately Performance version not available with towbar here so common sense prevailed over lust!

Well, not exactly in the post as I had to go and collect it - A Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD
You're a lucky fellow! I had the use of one for 3 weeks in the States last year and loved it. A great driver-interface and the animated "dog mode" on the aircon is useful when parked in hot weather even if you don't have a dog. :)
Have you found the hidden menu in the system yet? The selection of fart noises for the indicators caused much hilarity!

Well had this as a Birthday present this week, so had to show you all. This is a picture drawn by a graphic designer friend of my GTC and I think you will agree with me that its a really nice rendering.
I noticed a few weeks ago that he was drawing VW & Audi vehicles and mentioned to him that I would love one of my Scimitar and unbeknown to me my wife emailed him some photos of my car and he drew and printed this onto a banner for my garage. He has a facebook site which is titled Grafshed so have a look at what he can do. You too might like one done of your Scimitar.

Yes but not so important as getting iPhone to automatically lock / unlock car as i get near it or leave it. No need for a key and one simply approaches car and it unlocks due to phone proximity. No key fobs that can be relayed at a distance for theft purposes. OMG I love this car!

Great drawing - do you not have rear side windows though?

Ah, it drives like a dream! An iPad on wheels!
And the funny thing is that driving around our residential area (keeping to speed limit 30 km/h huh?) is no problem whereas it was with scim and Toyota. The total lack of increasing noise/revs and hearing radio perfectly is just relaxing. But get it on a motorway or other open road and all of a sudden all those other cars which were next to you are half a mile behind!
Yep we have a 100 km/h speed limit now due to nitrogen compounds emanating from industry and farming. So as usual the motorist had to pay. And the electric no emissions too! That's the logic of politics.
Kilometer price is less that 1/5 of the Rav4! I have begun to laugh every time I pass a petrol station.
Now I blame SWMBO for this.
We test drove a load of hybrids, because we do a lot of short trips and hybrid seemed a good idea, but in reality they are a poor compromise. So SWMBO said " Why not an electric car like a Tesla?" I love her!
We went for a test drive and were sold!
Cost not much more than a BMW 2 series active tourer, but so much more car (and performance).
I now have to refer to her as SWMBW - she who must be worshipped!
Lovely car Trevor. Enjoy !
