Hi guys,thought you might like this picture.It seems ages since I posted here,very busy in retirement on steam locos,really heavy stuff now and working up at Duxford on the intakes and elevons of the prototype Concorde.Whilst doing this,I came across the enc picture of XDN at Duxford,it must have been taken in the 70s.Just look what is parked under her nose :-)

I was at the Sunderland Air Show yesterday, some good stuff around. Particularly liked the helicopter display team and the Bronco and of course the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Correction! Due to "quantative easement" the Mitchell is now a B 25. Crusty.

Its a 727-200 of 2Excel, they have two of them rigged to spray dispersent on oil spills world wide, their engineering is done at Lasham which is why they are seen around here.
