Poor quality picture I'm afraid, but was being stalked by this Aston Martin (registration NAB 701D) yesterday in Yateley:

I followed this yesterday until it turned into what I assume is its home in the countryside. Google tells me its base is a 1959 Bristol with a Talbot Lago style body. It is stunningly beautiful.

saw a Bently today in a terrible metallic purple colour, no accounting for taste (or lack of?)

dunno the model,, but there are a few knocking about ABZ in 'normal colours', so maybe this is why chose the odddity?

There can't be more than one of these Bristol's in this colour :!:
In which case, it was at a show at Pangbourne College.
(I didn't take many pics  )

That would make sense, it lives towards Basingstoke and it's very much a one off with bespoke bodywork http://www.psychoontyres.co.uk/tag/spencer-lane-jones/

As well as loads of cars leaving Harewood when I arrived on Saturday evening (Bentleys, Morgan’s, Austin 7 (mainly specials), Jags, Riley’s, Bugatti’s, a Lea Francis, a Frazier Nash, etc) and the cars there today (Aston’s, Morgan’s, an Elva, Bond Equipe convertible, Rochdale GT), I saw 3 mk4/5 Cortinas on the way home and a Rover P5b camper!!! I kid you not, it was the front of a white P5b with a caravan bolted on the back!!!
