Ah! That's the Sabre six that used to belong to Simon Rivers-Bland :D (I believe it's been sold now?). It still looks good. Any idea of the current owner's intentions?

Working on the GTC today and looked up just at the right moment to catch sight of a 1966ish Maserati Quatroporte drive past.

New owner is a well known club member Roger but I'll leave it to him to elaborate :-)

A grey/primer moggy minor hot rod (big arches and faded sign writing) on a flat bed, southbound on the M25 (just prior to seeing a Maclaren being loaded onto a recovery wagon!), then a bog standard grey moggy westbound on the M4 shortly before a Fulvia on a suspended tow going in the opposite direction.

Lots of vintage hot rods at Santa Pod yesterday. Steering, brakes and suspension from another era with tuned flat head V8's and open bodies with no roll over bar - the ultimate toy to tinker with?

No photo ( lucky for you )

Just saw a new Bentley drive through our village. Paint was fluorescent pink, it looked a bit like a giant marshmallow going up the road.

The Scimitar SS1 is not so much a car as a lifestyle statement; it basically says "I'm mad, and I don't care".

Was speaking to someone a few weeks ago who saw it going down the production line at Bentley - it stood out..
