Ahh, if it was round this way, that's a regular at a lot of the local shows - the owner always wearing fake Ferrari branded clothing to go with his fake Ferrari vehicle

I’ve seen it around the Stoke area a few times - followed me down the Cheadle road (Leek to Meir) around 0800, but headed east down the A50 (I was on my way to Bentley).

Two cars I'd never seen or heard of before:

Piper (two of them). I spoke to the owner of the yellow one, there were 90 made from 1968 (or 9) to 1974, with 14 on the road. They are the usual formula of Triumph front suspension, Ford rear axle. The yellow one had a Lotus twin cam, the red one a Ford cross flow

Then a Bristoi Zagato, I've just looked this up, there were 4 made

Both the above cars at Kineton Classic monthly meeting, it was was ram packed this month in the glorious sunshine. It's eclectic to say the least, a Ferrari leaving, followed by 2 Bedford trucks

There was a hot air balloon too, flying over as we were leaving to go for a curry

At the beginning of last week, while driving to Goodwood, I saw a google streetview camera car - parked on a layby (probabably having lunch), so I've probably escaped being snapped!

Spotted a 1964 (D reg) Singer Gazelle on wedding car duty today. Makes a change from the usual suspects.

Seen a couple of different E types around recently which is also a pleasant surprise.

Northbound on M42 Sunday ( must have been some motorsport event)..i saw a couple of Audi R8's, with a black sinister Corvette following and then something very shiny.... a black and chrome Buggati Veyron  being 'pursued' by an Audi S3 very close...

A Mk1 Sierra XR4x4 just had to overtake me this evening - just so I could smell how rich it’s running at the next set of lights..

Oh - and a 1964 Morgan (or a later one with a private plate - it’s hard to tell as they barely changed in about 50 years..).

Driving back from the workshop at around 7pm I passed an immaculate blue Sunbeam tiger, a very brown 4th gen Toyota Crown (the one with the cool fins across the bonnet wrapping round to the side repeaters) and a red “well used” chrome bumpered MGB GT - there can’t have been a car show here on a Tuesday!!

Perhaps the noggin & natter of a local multi-marque club? :)
