SE5/5a

Post by Longchamp » Thu Feb 03, 2011 11:24 pm

I've just bought an SE5 which I will be fully restoring.
The car came with moulds to make the full 5a dash/console front and dash top.
My intention is to make a new dash/console front for my car using Carbon fibre cloth, if anyone is interested, I can make up a few extras.
The car also came with three boxes of very interesting documentation including the complete Scimitar register of Australia from the 1990's, there are photos and information on a LOT of cars in there, so if anyone would like to know where their car was back in the 90's, it is probably in there.

Sure Jim:
The car is currently unregistered, built in either 1971, Chassis number 452009, engine no SC2769, Colour is currently Pale Primrose but will be changed. Car is auto but this will be changed to 5 speed manual.

Lars, I have only been on the Scimitarweb forum for a couple of days but I have just seen your post from February 2011. I am in Perth WA and I have an SE5a with a completely knackered dashboard top. If you made any dash tops that you haven't yet sold I would be interested to hear from you.
