Re: Just how many SE6 cars are over here now?
Given the value of the dollar against the pound, it is probably a good time to get one from Britain. It could be shipped right to your door ( Port Kembla ). Cost me about £1200 in 2008. The (Federal) Government vehicle import process is OK - as long as its pre '88 - but the NSW "blue slipping" is a bit of a bore!
Re: Just how many SE6 cars are over here now?
Hi I have imported the 4th last 6B car made in October 2014. Since then, I have stripped the car down, rebuilt the cylinder heads, rear diff, front and rear suspension and getting it ready for a re-spray.
I bought the car in May C90 HUK, it has black leather interior....some of which is now being repaired.
Overall the car was a 6 out of 10. Hopefully I can get it upto a 9.
Although the car was in good overall condition, it was getting to the stage where it needed to be stripped, checked and rebuilt.
As far as I know it is the only 6B in Oz.
Cheers Glenn
Sorry edited my English plate number....which is now on the shed wall it is as you said C90 HUK......not sure what the new registration will eventually be in Victoria Australia
