I can confirm an order for 50 pairs of the quaterlight seals has been placed by the Club with Victor. It is anticipated that they will be available early next year as the tooling for the moulding has been finalised and the actual moulding has still to be carried out. The final costs are being worked out with the shipping, any import duty and tax to be taken into account.

As soon as any more information I will let everyone know. I will be keeping a spreadsheet of those who have expressed interest.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

Regards

Kevin
I thought the club was buying bulk order?
I have PM Kevin asking for an update on this thread so we can make informed decisions.

Morning all

The seals have arrived with the Club and we are finalising the cost including p&p and should be able to post the information on how to get them with the cost tomorrow.

Hi All

Right the price to members is £170.00 and non members of the RSSOC £210.00, this includes P&P in the UK. The cost was quite substantial to get the 50 pairs shipped to the UK. Below is the latest list I have of those who expressed interest, they will have the opportunity to purchase first. They will be sold through the Club Merchandise and payment to the Club Office, so speak to Andy and John.

Just to set this straight; the club did purchase the initial batch of 50 pairs of seals, and for that I am very grateful. As I received quite a lot of interest from others, I decided to have some more seals made to satisfy this demand.

I do not wish to compete with the club for sales, and when I listed these on Australian Ebay I inadvertently thought these would only show up on the Australian site. This was my oversight and I have now revised my listing and excluded these from UK Ebay.

No blame intended.
I was just wondering if the seals were available and how much they were as I am just about ready to start rebuilding my doors. I think Victor has done us all a great favour here and I am sure after looking at the quality of his rebuild and his attention to detail that they will be first class items.
