Nice AstroTurf :-)

Not going by the lights and what I can see of the dash - more a 5 than a 5A

Interesting as he has the wipers parking on the wrong side . Also has a RSSOC sticker in the screen.

They're not even parking ... they are trying to escape from the windscreen

I quite like the colour scheme...except that the green would look better curving downwards to the line of the rear hatch 'lip'...Could only be '73 if it was a 5 body on a 5a chassis, I guess, Jim?

It's an SE5, ex Miles Burnett.
He sold it to Thibaud Canyut in Bordeaux.
Must do some research to find what happened in between, but apparently it has had a superb restoration by someone.

I was really chuffed to see Pete Lewis' old car Shabby Chic looking very smart in a dealers showroom. I would never have had the time to bring the paintwork up to that standard. Hope she goes for somewhere near the asking price.

Apparently Thibaud, who bought the car from Miles, sold it on as he hadn't time to work on it.
So it is the garage Gentleman Classic Car who did the renovation.
Thibaud would still like an SE5/a but not needing work 8)
He doesn't like the new color scheme so I've suggested Jacques Marmier's BRG car - but that is even more expensive.

Incidentally, it is amazing to see an interior in the same colors in this month's Slice magazine, an SE5a so not the same car
