Still on british plates and in rather a sorry state, this GTE was spotted by a passing Scimitariste

DVLA says the tax ran out at the end of July 2012, but it was still MOT'd till Feb 2013, so that suggests to me that it left the country in 2012?

What was the chance to spot this one  ??
Looks like a nice little village (363 inhabitants) when you drive through with StreetView 8)
Maybe worth giving a phone call to the town hall and trying to find out the name of the owner ?
If the car has been sitting there for a while everyone in the village must know who it belongs to

Good idea Fred, except the Mairie is hardly ever open
I've sent an e-mail, we'll see what happens (if anything).

Well done Chris !
Good to identify yet another Scimitar fan in France ...
I just hope that he won't let the car soak on the pathway in this condition, it would be better in a garage or barn at least
See what happens !
Cheers,
Fred

Admins I have had an e-mail and telephone call from this person who doesn't wish to have his car's photos (although they are not his photos) or his name shown on the internet.
I have tried to erase the pics but I receive the message 'you are not allowed to access this file'.
Could you please do the necessary, thanks.
We don't really need this one in Scimitar France ...

Ok, now eliminated any possible identification of the vehicle, its location and its proprietors.

Geez Chris ... those people have given you a hard time
Not too surprised though - we had the feeling that they were kind of weird -
I wonder if their thirst for anonymity means that they are going to leave the car on the roadside where it was first located ?
That would be a pitty
Hopefully they will sell it someday and I hope that the next owner will be more friendly ?!
Until then ... Rust In Peace :|
