Post by DARK STAR » Mon Jun 15, 2015 5:48 pm

Fred Rambert has been promoting Scimitars very effectively in the north of France.
He has two of his own, the notorious SE5 'Purple' and the car featured here 'Flying Sub' or affectionally known as 'Custard' ...

Thanks Chris

I haven't been doing much more than gathering a few Scimitars on a couple of occasions really,
but that proved to be efficient for promoting the marque to visitors ... always highly positive
comments on the cars :D Having one Scimitar at a noggin is one thing, but once there is a
little group of 4 or 5 cars ... visitors are really impressed  8)

Organizers seem to be happy too as a matter of fact, see the official blog of the Autodrome de Montlhery
on which they used a photo of our Scimitars as the header of the section dedicated to the
Autodrome Heritage Festival 8)

Now for the promotion in magazines, all the credit goes to Xavier Audiau who likes Scimitars
and was looking forward to writing an article on an SE6 (after the article on the SE5 a couple
of months ago) ... and his next target is a coupe

I'll try to post a few more pics that were sent to me by the photographer of the magazine

Cheers, Fred
