La Scimitar de Holmes & Watson

Post by tanuki » Mon May 11, 2015 6:49 pm

Well ... be prepared for a weird quick presentation - in french - of the GTE

http://www.petites-observations-automob ... s-410.html

Just thought I'd post this to ask Chris if this french Scimitar was known to him
I assume that they did not bring it on a trailer, I would have loved to see it moving (or at least start the engine)
The scenery could be nice ... if the cameraman was not always circling around the characters, swinging his GoPro
all the time :hand:

Anyway, the comments left by visitors show that they like the car

Very strange.
The Scimitar is even in the cartoon of the event (which is in Corsica so just about in France  )
But I confess I don't recognise it so unless it has had a radical repaint you've found another one, well done Fred!
It's a very recent registration and someone was talking about importing a GTE - but I can't remember who.
Hope they make contact.

Of course, Jim, I even thought of nipping over to Corsica for it.
I've just noticed there is a german police car also in the cartoon, I think I've lost the plot ...

That was great. I understood about half of what they were talking about; all good fun. Complete with baguette in the back.

Oh Chris ... what an excuse to go and have fun in Corsica
The trouble is ... those guys are currently crossing the Pyrenees heading towards Biarritz
They are nuts, and surely have a lot of fun

I found this other pic of the mystery grey GTE on http://clubdes5a.blogspot.fr/2015_04_01_archive.html
and the video of the departure from Carcassonne:
