I have seen a very similar colour, but I think it was a vinyl wrap, you can even have mirror finish if you want.
Which I have seen on - wait for it - a Ford Fucus
Here's the next page ...

Chris, guess what ? I have seen just today three cars almost in that colour :?
A Ford, a Honda ... and even a Peugeot  (all brand new models, nothing tuned whatsoever)
It sounds like a trendy colour

An important page for those trying to maintain or restore a Scimitar in France, this gives links to many important suppliers including obviously Graham Walker and Queensberry Road Garage, but also many obscure french specialists.

The next page is useful to everyone, not just french Scimitaristes.
The main pages of the manuals for all models - including Coupé which you won't find on Graham Walker's site
(Not early Sabres, sorry, not sure if a manual exists ?)

I would love to add it to the site, but that poses certain logistic problems ;)

It would be great if you could, Jim.
With a full set it would be a useful resource for the forum (perhaps with a sticky link for members only).

I have been playing with the site and now if you click on any of the images (not photos in albums) you will find a link interesting, amusing, perhaps unexpected ...
there are quite a few on the intro page.
http://www.scimitarfrance.net/scimitarfrance/Index.html

Next page in line is the list of coming events all over France, compiled by RetroCalage, an impressive site with much essential information for french classic car enthusiasts.

Then there are photo reports on recent events featuring Scimitars ...

There is a link to the Picasaweb archive going back to 1998 in France and about 1990 in the UK.

I have just discovered something quite strange, my server (I suppose) registers display typefaces as code and if the receiving computer doesn't have that face in its library it defaults to Times Roman, a horrible character which was never intended for display work, and which does not have the right proportions.
I am changing the more obscure typefaces to Futura, which is surely on every computer, meanwhile please bear with me.

Oh dear oh dear, having sorted that out, I now have bits of some pages which don't appear at all on the site.
I may try ringing GoDaddy but I expect their telephone is answered by robots ...

Here is the next page which offers lots of opportunities to spend money on your Scimitar (quite apart from keeping it on the road 8) )
