Théatre de la Mer, Golfe-Juan

Post by DARK STAR » Sun May 13, 2018 3:14 pm

Dark Star étant toute propre après son nettoyage d'anniversaire j'ai fait une petite sortie au mensuel de Golfe-Juan (06)
Des voitures et des personnes habituelles, mais aussi beaucoup de nouveautés qui sortent pour la saison estivale ...

Dark Star being nice and shiny after her birthday clean I made a little outing to the monthly meeting at Golfe-Juan (06)
Familiar cars and people, but also many new ones coming out for the summer season ...

Nice one Dave but watch your gender 8)

Moi aussi j'adore la petite Simca, c'est la version française de la Hillman Imp (mais en plus fort ...)

This one is also the orangest car I have ever seen.

Absolutely honestly, I wondered about that - as usual, about a nanosecond after I hit the Send button!
As a matter of interest, are all makes fem. or is it a case of either you know or you don't?

The other notable for me was the Gordini - only ever seen one other at 'other club' rallies around here............Slightly more original?

Genders of words are a profound mystery and have nothing to do with sex (or logic).

Voiture is feminine, berline (saloon) is feminine, coupé is masculine, véhicule is masculine.
Automobile should be masculine as it is an abbreviation of 'vehicle automobile' - but it is feminine

You just have to get used to it :bh

And yes, the Gordini was fairly radical!

Actually, just noticed, I don't think your photo is a real Gordini because it is right hand drive 8)

Pretty sure they were available in RHD in UK - even exported to Australia in RHD as CKD :D
