TR6 Wheel nuts
Cheers i might give Rimmers a call, spitfire studs could be 1/2 ?...time i buy tyres this is getting to be an expensive exercise
..should add the nuts have to hold the TR plastic centres on which is why just a normal nut won't do

You’ll probably find standard GTE steel wheel nuts will do that..

Never try and argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you based on experience.

A thing to bear in mind with TR there is the TR6 and the TR GT6. Very similar front suspension but some significant differences (anti roll bar link for example....GT6 may fit Scim? but TR6 is different.)
So maybe there are differences in wheel studs between the two.

There's the Triumph TR6 and the Triumph GT6 - not sure how you'd manage to get those confused, though?Dennis Nicholas wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2019 9:01 amA thing to bear in mind with TR there is the TR6 and the TR GT6
GT6 studs are even smaller than TR6 ones (3/8" UNF versus 7/16" UNF), so they won't do either.

TR6 Wheel nuts
I'm just calling Rimmers see what they suggest..if i was not useing the conical wheel centres with the chrome caps i could use any 1/2 unf nut but i need ones to suit those centers with the correct length up to where the plastic washers sit...Basically i need tr6 nuts but with a 1/2 unf thread

The GTE steels (with fibreglass trims) use a nut with a 60 degree taper that has a collar with a rubber washer to hold the trim on...just the same way as the TR6 trim is held on.
