Rain expert and R888R don’t readily compare IMO, ones a road tyre that’s okay on a track and great in the wet, the latter is a “road legal” track tyre that’s no good in the wet.

Apparently the Rainsport 3 is the “performance” version of the rain expert? I have RS3 on the sprint car (and this years CM championship winner ran them too I believe) and for the price, I think they’re fantastic.

Yes I have these on the quattro 225/40-18 v 92 XL-outstanding road tyre. Yes track day tyre or road tyre? I'm a road driver in Scotland so perhaps I have an easier decision to make :cloud: LOLOL!


1597 [+ .005] cvh with kent Kccv23 cam living in a heavily worked and skimmed head fed by twin 40's fueled by home made leaded 5* plus...XR2 gearbox rebuilt by abbey with 4.29 final drive.....sitting in the back of Jeremy Phillips 2nd development Mojo....
