Re: SS1 Keynsham

Saw this car again - this time parked in Pensford.

Got most of the reg B.....WAE and I think the numbers match the one that's on the database from Slice 89.

Re: Any owners in Norway.

winning a nav rally in an Ital almost certainly had more to do with the co-pilots ability than the car's IMHO :-)

also Carl Utengen in Drammen, with the oldst known roadworthy GTE (chassis #0007) - see Slice 223 (front & rear covers and pages 12-14) for a write up - he didn't import the car but I have his email address somewhere.

Re: Club road runs

Simple - you need someone to organise it, Public Liability Insurance and an MSA waiver (easily available through the club) and then a group of like minded people to get together.

Re: How can I find out the colour code of my se5a

Paint code doesn't appear in the chassis number pre SE6 and as taggers said, new paint wouldn't match anyway. The best way is take it to a decent paint shop.

excellent "how-to" Murgers. Worth saying that if your blower motors haven't been out - take the opportunity to remove and refurbish :-)
