It’s the ethanol they’re adding to fuel now - it eats the rubber. Braided is even worse because you can’t see it fail straight away.

This is a small sports as phil mentioned, so there is no ignition relay (or glovebox) :D

SE6 Carb Part required

There’s remanufactured spacers now available from Burtons etc - not cheap though. The PCV (valve) in the rocker cover opens to allow air out and into the inlet manifold.
