38DGAS air/vacuum pipes

I thought the accelerator pump was on the RH side of the carb and has a mechenical linkage? (seen in pic 2)

The stub showing is plumbed into my vac advance on the dizzy.

Alternator replaced and attempted to change the fuel level sender today. 2 of the bolt heads were were held in with silicone!
