Re: 'A HOT N' Gold 1600

Found the culprit for my rubbish handbrake today. The N/S was operating as intended but the O/S cable had broken apart rusted solid inside. http://i1172.photobucket.com/albums/r561/Max_Benton/A%20HOT%20N/Handbrake%20cable/019_zpsbyfsblap.jpg Sourced a used but salvageable cable, however it was a bit...

Re: 'A HOT N' Gold 1600

Service complete and found some nasties including split water pipes and knackered HT leads. Nothing we can't fix though  http://i1172.photobucket.com/albums/r561/Max_Benton/A%20HOT%20N/Service/IMG_20160208_113155534_zpsibr0jllk.jpg http://i1172.photobucket.com/albums/r561/Max_Benton/A%20HOT%20N...

'A HOT N' Gold 1600

Naturally, living next door to Philip (Reliant Reviver) would eventually lead me to buying an SS1. I've been on the hunt for a few months and came close to buying one a couple of times, however, when I saw Dave Poole's old scim for sale in Sittingbourne I KNEW I had to have it. Philip was the influe...

Re: New SS1 owner from Reading

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome, I already feel at home! HI MadMax, Glad to see you're enjoying my old SS1 :D She looks much better on the new KN alloy wheels, which is something I would have loved to have purchased for her when I owned it, but sadly I hadn't got the budget or the space, so ...

Re: New SS1 owner from Reading

Hi Jim, thanks for the photos.

It currently has a gorgeous set of kn diamonds on it which I rather like. Can't wait to get the roof down when the weather's better and get some snaps! Until then, I have plenty of work to be getting on with :D

New SS1 owner from Reading

Hello! I'm Max, 19 Years old, I live in Reading and I'm a self confessed car fanatic. I've been lurking on the forum for a while now but thanks to the help of 'reliant-reviver' (RR) I have, as of today, bought my FIRST SS1! I have been looking for one for a while and 'A HOT N' , the gold SS1 owned b...
