Raz brake fitment looks to be all sorted now (back home, can see the pics). as for extra 'power', moving the caliper further out on a larger disc as you've done, will increase their performance and fade resistance, could be a start of the raz convesrion to compliment the Phil H brake conversion. Goo...

TBH I think 284mm fr discs are gonna be overkill anyway so losing a bit of diameter won't hurt. No such thing as overkill in motorsport  ] have to disagree mate. Confuscious, he say, 'balance in all things'... essentially brakes that lock too easily or have a crap pedal feel will make you ...

if you split a caliper apart, you'll see the fluid transfer holes are miles away from the edges. I haven't got a pic to hand, but if you google metro caliper pics or vented spacers im sure summat will come up.

as for changing classes within SSSC, im guessing that the circuit regs will align closer to current 08 Super mod than ever before, would mean that you can run the list 1B AO48Rs on the sprints/hills too. would allow a bit more power too ;-)

Hi Raz, can't see your pics coz picking this up on my PDA (oooh get me!). from what I deduce its the larger diameter of the disc arc that doesn't suit the arc within the caliper. if that the case why don't you turn down the diameter of the disc by say 3mm and then adjust the caliper casting with my ...

Another thing is you'll be competing in a full spec mod prod car, so when in the MSA classes you're going to be able to compete with the best, without the compromises needed to confirm with the SSSC supermod regs. Quick, get the arches back on I don't have to chase hughesy anymore  Paul. its a...

Morning Guys thanks for the comments Phil H more power would be required, and a twink is possible but £5k needed to build one to same spec as my current engine/new turbo, so thats out. im not underestimating the difference in car setup and spec just for slicks let alone adding power, not an easy jum...

Steve, dont think they'll be much chance of dominating in Competition class against the might of Ben & Dannys supercharged Beastie  as its always been a car ive been in awe of, but it is an option. i still have conflicting views on the situation, somedays its stay in super mod and do my level b...
