SE 6a Chassis Problems

the new galvanised chassis's graham walker had were from the middle bridge auction, but I was told they originated from reliant's 2.8"s stores, I bought the last bare one they had some years ago now, for a GTC with a 2.9. I know this has been done to death but remember that the vehicles id should st...

Clutch fork isolator is the official name.

new pump arrived yesterday ... superb service. I replaced the old one and it runs a lot better haven't had chance to take it for a run yet. Any one know the name of this little rubber part, it was fitted to the clutch arm, it needs replacing if I can find one.

15" alloy tyres

Roger they are 6" wheels so it looks like 195 65 15 will need to be ordered 6"? Be sure because mostly, 15 Woolfies are 7" (I think) and require 10mm spacers at front (plus a little fettling of top wishbone corners) to give clearance. Just thought I'd mention it. thanks but mine are definitely 6.0 ...

That discounts my next thought then - worn actuating rod or cam lobe.
still may be that... would be disappointing after only 50,000 miles but I won't discount anything yet.

thanks Jim I found one on ebay and its on the way, I think it is something more than the pump, but it does not work smoothly when pumped by hand. It is probably full of crud drawn from the rusty tank.
The engine was running in a similar way to an xr3 I had, when its ignition module was failing.

well after 12 years off the road HOM passed its mot today with one advisory for a front wheel bearing. Just as I was feeling pleased with my self it promptly coughed and stopped, when it eventually started HOM ran like a bag of spanners. It was a five mile journey the worst I have ever had but we go...

SE6 Rebuild with BOB engine

GW did one there was a lot of work needed to the bulk head area to get it in at the expense of space available for the pedals, small feet were needed. :)
