Fuel Gauge adjustment

The pointer in my fuel gauge SE6A drops well below the O when empty, resulting in having to put a lot of fuel in before it starts it reaches 0 even more fuel before the low fuel light goes out, can this be adjusted without having to dismantle the whole gauge. Or is this a problem with the fuel level...

Rear wiper wheel box

Needing a new rear wheel box for my SE6A, or some way of stopping the wheel from turning in the wiper blade, anyone found a good way of stopping it slipping.
Is the rear box a 30 or 32 teeth box, or is it special to the SE6A, what other car makes use this wheel box.

Inlet Manifold Question

Thanks for reassuring me that the spare will be Ok, but why DD1 on the original and ADC then 2 on my spare, was there a small design change to suit the later capped (non-adjustable carburetor) both manifolds look the same with the same bolt, union holes.

That is the same set-up as the SE6A in that the Auto Choke / Carb is fed from the front, then onto the heater, other Ford set-ups indicate that the heater is fed from a back out-let. As the water from the back out-let is hotter than from the normal front out-let at the thermostat housing, i fed it f...

All i want Xmas

I think i have warped my inlet manifold, SE6A, never had a problem until i changed the plumbing in that i fed the Carb / heater from the hear of the manifold, (as Ford intended). I noticed that the new water hose to carb / heater ran about 4 /6 degrees hotter than the hose from the front of the mani...

Correct Valve Clearances SE6A

I can appreciate that conversion from imperial to metric can throw up some differences, however even the imperial figures are different considering that some manuals cold figures are the same as others with the engine hot, which depending on how much expansion occurs can make a difference. Brookland...

My Brooklands Reliant Scimitar manual states, Inlet cold 30 mm or 25 mm hot / Exhaust 51 mm cold or 46 mm hot. My Haynes Ford Capri 3.0 lt sta...
