One way to find out is take out the sender and have a look inside. the return pipe will be the shorter one bending down into the tank. Surely you could find someone to braze on a new pipe?? Of course that would mean...

I fitted the trunnion last week, I had read the sticky before i did it and its been baffling me all week how the hell the mechanism would work if the bold cannot move which mine did but only when the trunnion moved. So i have it on correctly then. happy days. Will get the other one done on saturday.

The through-bolt should not *under any circumstances* rotate in the trunnion, I see now - I misunderstood this part. If I move the upright in and out when tight the whole mechanism including the bolt should move but the same amount as the trunnion is moving. so am I right in saying The Nylon bushes...

should the Nylon bushes fit easily into the wishbone eyes or should the fit quite snugly?

I really can' t understand how, if the trunnion bolt is very tight then the whole assembly including the bolt cannot move together??

Should I flush it out or dismantle and clean it as I don't want to pump filth and god knows what else into my nice new rack. Any advice very welcome and I will try to take some pictures of it going back toget...

Items arrived from GW today so I was looking forwards to getting the roof console back on and testing the interior light delay unit out, when opening the package to say I was dissapointed is a slight understatement. I cant for the life of me see how a courtesy light delay unit can be mistaken for a...

It comes out really easily Joey (2 screws for the light unit and 3 screws & a plate under the rear view mirror which holds the sun visors in place) but it is a pig to get back in as you have to feed the front behind the windscreen rubber, biggest problem I had was the refitting the rear view mirror...

I had another look for the courtesy light delay and eventually found it where Jim advised but the reason it will not pull out is because it has a retaining screw fitted which requires the removal of the roof console to access it. So it looks Like I will have to strip it back out to get to it so all...
