As its belongs to someone else i hardly think they would want to discuss private details with anybody...If it was mine i'd be bloody annoyed if they did ! This was in the early 1970s , not last week. Even so, a simple "Sorry we have no info" wouldn't cost them anything but a few moments. The piece ...

Otherwise you would need some strong lifting hoists". So now I am waiting for the owner to give me his further ins...

SE5 chassis repair just arrived

I suppose that I could take out part of the external body and drive something in just so far. However, ignoring the owner's budget (if it were my ca...

This looks like an SE5 to me.

No reply from Crouch Recovery. They obviously consider themselves too grand now to deal with mere members of the public. :-(

SE5 chassis repair just arrived

I have been cutting away the scrap metal on the offside and have had to go some way to find anything to weld to. I have also found holes in places that I wasn't expecting, like the tube that carries the rear jacking point etc.

If you are not sure about the carburettor, set it to three and a half turns out each side as a starting point.

Fuel tank out for safety and inspection of the chassis rear. Surprising how good it seems to be. The fuel leak was down to it having no clips on it at all, just pushed over the spigot!
