Not just the door cards, the door opening mechanism is different.
Ah, I didn’t think the actual door was different.

Did 1967 cars really have straight six doors?
Do you mean doors or door cards?

But just to clarify, would the wheel nuts also differ from Wolfrace to Dunlop wheels?
Yep.

Driveshaft oil seals.

Although Steve removed the bearing screw caps before removing the seals, apparently the seals can be removed first and you only need to remove the caps (and set up the pre-load afterwards) to change the bearings.

Asking about axles

Have the half shafts been out recently? If not, it’s unlikely a slide hammer will work.

Driveshaft oil seals.

Sorry - I was thinking about the nose seal. I think the side seals just pull out and push back in (never done it myself but I’m sure the answer will be on google :D )

You will need an mot for a reg swop
Strictly speaking, you haven’t needed an MOT to transfer a reg for a long time - but that doesn’t apply in this case as it’s been off the road for so long.

Diff is Sierra - 7” 3.92 open. Seals are available but don’t just push in.

Gearbox rear mounting

Ah, so you’re trying to remove the rubber mount and not the chassis mount - the 4 bolts on the latter are sometimes easier.

Gearbox rear mounting

1/4” drive handle will fit in there with a 3” extension or long reach 13mm socket. If they’re really seized you need to disconnect the rubber mount from the metal mounting - 2 x 13mm nuts and bolts - the top can be covered in oil and debris.

Springs, Dampers and Bushings

Scimitars have coilovers all round as standard.

If you mean adjustable seats, you can get fixed seat dampers and you can buy springs on their own - or you can buy sets from the club traders.

Gasket oil leak on a TI

I replaced the bolts to be on the safe side.

The belt should be fully tight before you turn it - you’re turning it to double check everything and make sure there wasn’t any hidden slack anywhere.

No need to replace the belt again if you do the HG.
